Is this similar to a traditional sauna/Finnish sauna?

The infrared sauna provides a gentle, comfortable heat. It typically operates at a lower temperature than a traditional sauna, yet it is proven to raise core body temperature much more efficiently. Most people find it relaxing and easy to breathe within this type of sauna. The infrared sauna is easier to use and typically much more enjoyable than a traditional sauna.

How much will I sweat?

You probably won't sweat much in the beginning. In fact, don't be surprised if you don't really sweat at all the first couple of sauna sessions. Your body learns to sweat more efficiently with subsequent sessions.

Should I buy a 30 or 60 minute session?

If you have not been using a sauna consistently elsewhere we recommend you begin with the 30 minute session and work your way up to the 60.

Can I shower after my session?

Yes, one shower is available in the sauna room. Robes, slippers, towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel is provided.
